PDAX has launched a video series hosted by veteran talk show host Boy Abunda that aims to leverage celebrity influence to drive financial literacy and investment awareness among Filipinos.
Tara, Bonding Tayo! with Boy Abunda
The series, titled “Tara, Bonding Tayo!” (Let’s Bond!), premiered on Feb. 2, 2026. Short clips from the show had been released weeks prior.
According to a statement from the exchange, the program aims to discuss money management, wealth, and financial responsibility through the lens of personal relationships and daily life.
Focus on Financial Education

The video series features interviews with media personalities and financial experts regarding their personal experiences with money. PDAX stated that the show intends to make financial concepts accessible by avoiding technical jargon and focusing on real-world narratives.
“The series centers on how Filipinos from different walks of life think about money, responsibility, and long-term security,” the exchange said in a press statement.
Guest List
The initial episode includes the following guests:
- Sam YG: The television host discussed his investment strategy, specifically his use of government bonds for capital preservation.
- Randell Tiongson: A director at the Registered Financial Planner Institute (RFPI), Tiongson outlined steps for consistent investing rather than speculative trading.
- Dianne Medina: The celebrity mother shared her experience with financial challenges and the habits used to rebuild stability.
“Wealth can mean many things. For some, it’s peace of mind. For others, it’s time, freedom, or legacy,” Abunda said regarding the show’s premise.
Expansion of Investment Products
The launch of the educational series coincides with PDAX’s expansion into traditional financial products. While initially established as a cryptocurrency exchange, the platform has introduced several non-crypto asset classes.
- Tokenized Treasury Bonds: PDAX, through its broker-dealer subsidiary, distributes tokenized versions of Philippine government bonds.
- Digital Gold: The platform offers “PDAX Gold,” a feature allowing users to trade gold-backed assets priced in grams.
- Project Bayani: The exchange previously released a white paper estimating that the tokenized asset market in the Philippines—covering bonds, equities, and mutual funds—could reach $60 billion by 2030.
The series is available for viewing on the exchange’s official YouTube channel.
