Bitget Extends Help to Cebu Quake Victims
In a media release sent to BitPinas, Bitget shared that a total of 118 individuals from Bogo City and San Remigio received relief supplies on November 2, 2025.

The relief operation was led on the ground by The Ascent Project for distribution, mobilized by Bitget’s local trading community, while the firm funded the initiative worth ₱100,000.
“My heart goes out to people that have been struggling during this difficult time. Our community in Cebu has helped us stand with those in need during such distress, we hope to support and continue building trust.”
Gracy Chen, Chief Executive Officer, Bitget
According to volunteers who distributed supplies, they coordinated with local government officials to identify severely affected families, who still have no access to electricity and clean water since the earthquake happened on the night of September 30, 2025.
Meanwhile, Bitget expressed that the firm and its community partners in the country are finding ways to provide assistance and support for rebuilding initiatives in northern Cebu.
“The initiative forms part of Bitget’s broader global impact strategy, which includes long-term partnerships such as its collaboration with UNICEF to expand digital and blockchain education for over one million young people by 2027.
Bitget remains committed to extending its presence beyond trading platforms and contributing to meaningful, on-the-ground support where its communities need it most.”
